This is a large, solid block of Texas Ebony showcasing its signature deep chocolate-brown to near-black tones with stunning, tight grain patterns. The entire piece is 100% heartwood, offering the exceptional density and rich color that Texas Ebony is prized for.

Dryness: Fully air-dried to under 10% moisture content, making it stable and ready for your projects.
Flaws: There are some pith cracks and pith-associated deterioration, affecting roughly 25% of the block. While this presents a challenge for full utilization, the remaining material is clean and high-quality. If you are inclined, it would be a good candidate for epoxy stabilization.
