Very pretty end-grain blocks of Cypress; ideal for spindle turning.  The grain is fine and even, with a light brown to golden color.   The grain is roughly parallel to the long axis of the block.  This piece is S4S, surfaced on all 4 sides. 

This piece has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. I see no cracks, checks, or other flaws. There's a bit of surface discoloration right near the label -- it's sawblade scuff that will sand right off.
