This is a set of Black Walnut knife scales that will make a beautiful knife handle. They are bookmatched, such that the pieces of wood are mirror images of each other. 

The wood has been air-dried to under 10% moisture content. Thanks to the air-drying process, they have retained their full color depth and contrast. The wet photo shows you a preview of the finished knife handle.

Some of our knife blanks will have surface blemish from the sawblade; this will sand off easily.
