This is a hefty block of Black Cherry heartwood.  It appears to be entirely heartwood of a uniform light pinkish to light brown color.  There are several small wanes (or areas where a bark edge appears on the blank).  There are also a few hints of bark inclusions, but none appear to be extensive.

Most notably, there is a single prominent crack that cuts across the bottom of the block.  It’s a radial crack of at least 2.5” across and extending at least 1” into the block.  You may wish to reinforce this with CA glue. I see no other cracks, checks or significant flaws. Note, the price reflects the presence of the larger crack.
