This is another very nice rectangular block of the Texas Purple Heart Eastern Red Cedar with a complex and very pretty grain pattern. It is primarily deep reddish-purple heartwood but does have a small wedge of creamy sapwood on one corner, and includes several irregular stripes and small lenses of residual creamy yellow sapwood interlayered within the grain.
I see no flaws in this block.
