This is an attractive end-grain block of Texas White Ash.  The grain is fairly straight.  The wood color is a warm-toned light brown with some darker color variations along the grain.

This is a nice, solid block with no apparent knots or flaws.  The block is air-dried to 10-12% moisture content.
