This is a live-sawn block of Texas Black Cherry. It is 100% light pinkish-brown heartwood.  The surfaces are a bit rough, so the photos do not do the grain justice.  It will finish to a beautiful surface with gently-curving grain patterns.


I see no cracks, checks or other potential flaws in the board.
