Spalted Oak Board SO-527 1.7" x 12" x 19.7" 8.5 lbs. This is a beautiful, natural-edge board of Spalted Oak. We've removed the bark and sanded down the natural edges to clean off debris and to preserve the interesting sub-bark textures. We've surfaced the board and taken it through 3 levels of sanding on both sides so that the faces are parallel and smooth. This live edge slab will be attractive for a variety of projects. You can use it as a vanity or dresser decoration, a step-stool or bar stool top, a sign background, a clock face, or as the top a small piece of furniture. I'm sure you can come up with other great uses for this beautiful, already-finished board. The board has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content.
