Red Oak Block RO-524x 1" x 1" x 12" 0.4 lbs. This is a nice end-grain Red Oak spindle. The grain is more-or-less parallel to the long axis of the block. The block is air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. We've cut multiple of this size of spindle.
