Bodark Block B758 3.7" x 3.7" x 6.9" 3.4 lbs. This is a hefty block of aged and spalted Texas Bodark. It has the deep golden-orange of aged Bodark heartwood with the darker hues of spalting. Once you work with this block, the freshly exposed surfaces will deepen in color with light and air exposure. This block has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. There is one edge with a sliver of bark along it. I see no cracks or checks in the blank. |
