Black Walnut Bowl Blank BW433 3" x 6" x 6" 2.7 lbs. This is a very nice square-cut bowl blank of Black Walnut heartwood. The color is a pleasant medium brown to dark brown with a very nice, gently-flowing grain pattern. There are several small burl bud clusters that create attractive swirls in the grain and a bit of chatoyance. I see no cracks, checks or other significant flaws. This piece has been air-dried to under 10% moisture content. |
