Black Walnut Board BW-415 0.8" x 3" x 26.3" 1.6 lbs. This is a nice uniform board of S2S Texas-grown Black Walnut. It is all heartwood with a swirling grain pattern. The colors are an overall medium brown with bands of darker-brown grain. There are several small knots visible on one side that do not penetrate through to the other side. This piece has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. I see no cracks, checks, or other significant flaws. There are more than 3 photos, so please scroll down past the first 3 to see them all. |
