| White Ash Block WA-175 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 10" 1-3/4 lbs. This is another nice, near perfect 2-1/2 inch square end-grain block of Texas White Ash. The color is an overall light to slightly pinkish brown. The grain pattern is strong and linear. There are a number of small, black-stained bug holes scattered throughout. The only visible flaw is a single small drying check located on one edge (bottom photo, left side, lower edge of far end - but not really visible). This will turn off immediately as the blank is rounded. I see no other cracks or checks. |
