Bodark Block B-744 1.4" x 1.4" x 7.1" 0.5 lbs. This is a very nice, end-grain block of Texas Bodark. The dominant color is the deep golden-yellow of Bodark heartwood, with a bit of darker golden spalting. There are several small knot on a side face, and the grain is attractively curved around these knots. This block has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. I see no cracks, checks or other potentially significant flaws |
