| This is a very nice square-cut bowl blank of Black Walnut heartwood with a sliver of sapwood along one edge. The color is a pleasant medium to dark brown with a very nice, gently-flowing grain pattern over most of the block. One edge has a bit of wane and a 1.5" band of lighter-brown sapwood. This piece has been air-dried to under 10% moisture content. |
